They are making the facias easier and easier to change out
It allows easy work on these but also allows the factory to Build several vehicle one right after the other with essentially just basically cosmetic changes

FYI for those trying to find replacements for the wheel well liner "rivets", I found a perfect replacement that can be re-used...they are the GM body rivets, same length but have the threaded center part 961-050, $3 for 6 of them at Advance Auto Parts.

I wish someone that is going to take 10 minutes would do a video of the 10 minutes to remove the front bumper for chicken**** like myself. Also one of the reasons I had gone into the dealershipwas for the wheel well lliners, they had startedto hang right at the top of the arch of it. Apparently during the bad winter we just had here in NY the wet slush turning into ice over night or just the weight of the wet slush sopping wet liner caused it to hang right at the point where there is no rivet or screw nor can you put one in without causing some pretty good damage to the fender.

No need to be scared, I had never done it before the other day. All you have to do is just remove the rivets, 1/4 turn fasteners underneath, 2 bolts, and disconnect the fog light connector. Once you do that, just start gently pulling on one side starting at the wheel well (2 clips), once those come undone do the same on the other side (2 clips)...after each side is loose, tug evenly across the bumper and you'll hear it popping loose. If I remember correctly, there are 4 "clips" that secure the bumper to the front end just under where the bottom side of the grille is. It's VERY easy to do, just don't pull on it like a gorilla and you'll be fine, use some finesse.

Thanks whiteout what you said is definitely a positive explanation of the task to be done. I will give it a try soon as I finish working on my Harley. Need at least one vehicle to be on the Riad while I work on the other. Lol

Good idea...just hope it doesn't rain if you need to go somewhere. In any event, it literally takes about 10 minutes to put everything back on, so no worries.

I live out in Chili, right off Exit 5. I have no mods yet other than replacing the chrome door handles with black ones, and debadging the rear. Currently in the process of stripping and painting the chrome trim on the front though, it's going to take a while.
