When I push the start button, sometimes it dosen't start. Goes into "run" mode but no engine. I have my foot on the brake but nothing. I usually have to cycle thru with two more pushes to get it to turn over.
I haven't had that issue with our push start. Maybe it's the timing between pushing the button and pressing the brake pedal? I always press the brake pedal, and then 2 seconds or so later, push the button.
Truck is back in the shop. Push start works once and then doesn't work the next time. They're looking at it again. So far, it seems like this is new to them. Lots of back and forth with Dodge. 5K on the clock and three multiple day trips to the shop so far.
did you try pulling the button out of the dash and using the key? Do you have the same issue? One of my keys went bad and that is what we needed to do until we could make it into the shop.
I had a similar issue when I first got my D. Turned out to be a loose starter cable. Took the dealer 2 days to find it, but no problems since then (I am at 12K now).
