Default HEMI Emblem Placement poll

Picked up a pair of OEM HEMI emblems. Original application is for the hood of 2009-2010 Chally. In my opinion Dodge Durango Product Managers missed this important branding opportunity.

I have two options: A. on the door which is similar placement as the Citadel emblem; or B. on the fender.

Before I make permanent, which do you prefer? (Sorry pics are not the best)

Thanks for your input!

I too just picked one up, but I got the same one they used on the 2004-2009 Durango. I plan to put it on the tailgate under my "Citadel" emblem. I'd consider putting it on the side if I wanted more stoplight challengers, but this thing is (currently) pretty gutless from a dead stop compared to my 2005.

I was also wondering why they would leave the Hemi badge off, and if I had to guess they are looking ahead and realizing that eventually EPA numbers and public demand will lead to a decline in V8 demand and practicality. When was the last time you saw a Hemi commercial? I have to suspect you'll see more beefy V6's since many are up over 300HP already. Perhaps they'll preserve the Hemi name in the form of a Hemi V6, since Hemi refers to hemispherical combustion chambers, not necessarily the V8 that usually comes to mind. I predict that the Hemi 5.7 will be history by 2015, and you may only see 6.1L+ Hemi's in the SRT line. And maybe a Hemi V6.

Hemi has been long branded with the power and muscle of the V8. Changing it would be hard pressed.

I plan on placing a R/T emblem on the side so I'm holding off on adding a Hemi emblem for now. I like both locations. I had the Hemi emblem on the fender of my 2nd Gen. Durango.

True, but "HEMI's" aren't the only engines that use actual hemispherical technology. The same as how several manufacturer's give their AWD systems a fancy name; Quattro, 4Matic, etc!
