So I'm looking for some upgrades for the stock Alpine system, and I stumbled upon this box on Crutchfield. Yes, still an 8-inch woofer, but I'm not convinced that I want to install one, or even both, of the 12-inch Type R's that I currently have. What do you guys this of this little set up? of course, I'd have to measure the cargo area floor panel to see if this would fit, after removal of the stock sub.

It will be a tough fit, not to mention you will have to modify the cover that sits over the sub and the "cubby". The problem with the way the stock sub is set up in the d is that cover. it blocks so much of the sound. I personally have a single 12" jl sub that is flushed into the floor (i do not have the 3rd row of seats). i built a custom box. and just looking into the the cargo area you can not see anything.
