I have the same color and ya it pops in the sun. Seams to hide a lot of the dirt between washes better than all the other Black, black cars I have owned, maybe because its more of a color than a shade?!?

Beautiful RT. I was originally looking at a black one but it didn't have the tow package. Love the black metallic! I'm jealous, they look mean. Gonna cost me some coin to get the blacked out lights and the lip.

The pollen here is awful. I didn't have any time to polish and wax but it was yellow by the time we got home from being out most the day. The worst thing here are those love bugs. Everyday I get home from work I'm cleaning them off.

Agreed man, I barely have time to wash my black beauty let alone wax her. But she sure looks great when she is clean, BLACK on BLACK only way to go with the DD, just my opinion, its just oozes darn sexiness!!!!

agreed! love her when shes clean..

my issue with my black R/T is the water spots / stains if I dont dry quick enuff or just want to rinse off some dust or green stuff but not wash her again a day or 2 later

Ironically about 5 min ago I was researching a solution and came to this conclusion and solution:

http://www.purewaterproducts.com/gardenhosefilters.htm

$55 for the clear double cannister and $19 per filter

I read great reviews by other car washers ( epecially black..)

Stay tuned for my "recommended (black) durango detailing products and methods" write up coming soon! I'll add my experiences with this thing

Looks great! May want to add a static strap down the road to keep alot of dust off it during daily drives and/or while parked. Added it to my black Magnum and rarely have any dust build up (with a good clay/waxing) nor do I get shocked on exit. Just an idea. Rockauto has a Gates strap for $3.

I just waxed mine Friday. I love the black. Still looking for the best wax for the d. Tried meguires black and ultimate. Great shines, but I want a little wetter shine. Might have to go past hand waxing to get it.
