Default My 2013 R/T has a lot of bark but not a lot of bite. Options?

First time dodge-owner and I love my Durango. However, for how much bark this 5.7L Hemi has, there isn't a whole lot of bite to it. Off the line it's OK up until about 50 mph and that's where it goes **** all on me. Going from 2nd to 3rd is a disaster. Now I fully understand why they're throwing the 8spd in there.

I have a RWD.

What options should I look into? I'd like to get my R/T down to low 5's in the 0-60.

Programmer, Intake and exhaust, basically your bolt ons.

These are the same motors that are in the Charger R/T so they are detuned like crazy, only 360hp. You can't expect something crazy out of these Durango's as they are heavy, have some body roll (even in the R/T) and a ton of torque management. lol

Now if you rally want to get up and go you can go forced induction, but your tranny will be toast so plan for a converter and a good tune on top of it all.

Unfortunately Low 5's are not in your future without BOOST or an extreme engine build my friend. However with some bolt ons it will scoot around just fine. You came to the right place.Sbindley is about done with his supercharger install, and MJNewman has his AutoX 'ing going on. Everyone else seems to be into making her look Badass, the Durango is almost 3 tons but she is a ton of fun and most the guys/ gals on here are down to earth. Welcome.

AFE Cold air intake and the Hypertech really woke mine up.

Gotcha. I appreciate the help.

A lot of this terminology is pretty new to me so bear with me if I come off like an over-eager teenager.

Having said that, what are some "bolt-ons" I should start looking into? What should my first step(s) be?
