I think it look's nice but, I want to know why we as consumers need to foot the bill for this crap?

I was just told a few day's ago that the 14's smoke just like the rest and Chrysler is calling this "normal" Why do they not do this from the factory if they and we know that there are problems?

I think we should all come together for a class action lawsuit. This is not normal by any means.

Off my soapbox & sorry to highjack a little.

You don't need to foot the bill, it's your decision. I personally wouldn't purchase a catch can to get rid of a smoking condition. I get them because once you see the amount of oil that gets sucked through your intake you will want one, especially if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a while.

As far as why this is not included in a new vehicle, well that's simple. Cost. Also, the average consumer is not going to be emptying a catch can during their oil change intervals. Most consumers don't change their own oil. Heck, alot of folks don't even know how! lol

Sorry many of my pictures are not being displayed. My picture host "dropshots" is having server issues. Anyhow first oil change is done and the first empty of the BT Catch Can. I installed it about 1500 miles ago.

Mike, has the catch can reduced the smoking issue? If you had one in the first place.

That looks like about the same amount I got in my CC on the first oil change. I switched over to full synthetic and will be interested to see if their is more or less. my truck only has 3700 miles today so it will be awhile.
