Default Looking to buy Volant, seen this site?

http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/16157.html

$265 for the dry filter version. Seems $100 cheaper than everybody else.

Haha.

I've decided against the catch can but am looking at the Hypertech.

I agree, time to stop. But I'm using my winnings from my fantasy league so it's Monopoly money.

When I picked up the truck on Thursday they made me meet the aftermarket service specialist. I asked about the need for a catch can, he said you absolutely didn't need it....But that I should bring my Durango to the dealer every 30,000 miles for a very inexpensive $100 throttle body cleaning......so went with the catch can

He also wanted to sell me the Mopar CAI for $700 installed......lol

My Catch Can was just about full to the point it would have spilled out when I unscrewed it at a 4000 mile check on XMAS day. motor had used about 1/2 --3/4 of a qt.

So I took a look under the hood this morning. The factory intake and filter is fed directly through a gap above the grill below the hood. I thought the whole premise of the need for a CAI was that the factory setup got its air from within the engine compartment??? It looks like the Volant just connects to the same spot, so how is the factory setup not considered a CAI?

Not so much the temperature of the air with stock intake, but the restriction in airflow and volume. Too many bends in stock system
