Ok, I finally put an end to that ever annoying rattle from the headliner of my 2013 Citadel. It was coming from the area just in front of the overhead dome light between the front and rear seats. And I did it for free without worrying about the dealer making things potentially worse with major headliner surgery.

I had some foam from a package and cut a piece that was about 6 inches long, 2 inches wide and about an inch thick.

I popped off the pass side overhead vent by slightly turning and pulled it down and it comes right out.

I gently pulled down on the headliner and pushed the piece of foam into the area in between the light area and the hump.

I kept testing by tapping up on the headliner to replicate the noise and pushed it around until it stopped.

Now it is solid and absolutely no noise. Took about 5 minutes and it will have a dramatic positive impact on driving around now.

Hope this helps any of you all with the same issue

I'm going to try that! I don't have a sunroof or DVD screen but have that damn rattle up there as well! It's the only thing that makes noise.

Thank you! I'll give it a try and let the board know.

I used a piece of my wife's Yoga mat and stopped it. What's funny is the other day she realized that the mat was shorter, I told her she must be getting a tad taller from all of that stretching. lol

Hahaha...yeah, but having that rattle gone probably feels better than after a yoga session lol. So glad I didn't let the dealer fix it...headliners are always an issue once removed..in my experience
