Whoaaa, flag on the play. Dave we are talking about 2 totally different animals. Yes you chased a lot of gremlins with your Saleen but you were also trying to build a 1000hp land speed record setting beast lol. We are talking about just bolting on a small system here to make the D a little more fun to drive. I don't think we are traveling the path with this that you got into, you were DEFINATELY pushing the limits on that termi. As long as the bottom end & tDanny on this hemi can take an additional 140hp I don't think other things are gonna be effected..... But I could be wrong.

That being said, very few stock cars are built for blowers but there are countless cars out there built up with no issues. No ford products were built for blowers stock except for the Cobras but how many Roush's/saleens and God knows what else is running around out there blown with stock internals with over 100k miles on them as DD's? You can't throw a rock without hitting one

Ripp is running a holiday sale right now $6,295 -6% on their website. So a bit under 6 grand

How long did it take them to do the installation?
Was the installation costing a lot?

My vehicle was used for R&D so they did not charge me for install. I believe they spec install time at 6-7hrs, maybe less.

Its working great. My Durango is usually drive 3 days a week maybe, i normally take my ford expedition to work with my 2 kids and wife. Durango is my weekend/ personal day car.
Put quite a few hundred miles on it, and it never fails to put a smile on my face when i pull pass someone. I've gunned pass a few slow Durangos on the road as well. I'm sure they are wonder WTF when they hear a loud *** Durango pull right off next to them hah.

No issues with driveablility etc. No weird shifts, everything feels smooth.

UFO...... Here's my BIG question. After getting some seat time in the truck now, at a price tag of $7k if you had to pay for one would you? I guess what I'm getting at is was it a $7k difference in the performance of the truck? I imagine it was a HUGE improvement but that's a steep price tag..... Even with them on sale for 6200 right now. I want one bad but have a hard time swallowing that it will put a $7k smile on my face lol.
