Default 22" Viper FR Wheel Question

Hello Everybody! I have a question which I searched and searched and I think I found most of my answers, but I'm not sure if I understand it correctly. I am wanting to put 22" Viper Reps on my 14 Durango R/T. I see Double Mods has them which are 22X9 5X127 +50 LX VIPER GLOSS BLACK. The offset is +50 is my main question/concern. Research shows the stock Durango wheels are +50 (or +56). So basically these Viper wheels would be pretty much at the same location as stock. So now when you talk about tire size, stock is 265/50R20. Looks like lots of people go with 285/40R20. So the width is 20mm wider and since the offset is about the same as stock, you split the difference and that is how much the wheel will stick out beyond stock. So in this case 10mm which is about 0.4". If I go with 275/40R20, then they will only be 5mm beyond stock, which is 0.2" approx. Am I understanding this correctly and do you see an issue going with these wheels and with the 275/40R20? Anybody with pics of this setup would be great.

Yeah that info would be helpful for me too. I just got my '13 R/T and am trying to decide on wheel sizes as well

22x9 - 285/40R22. I could turn fully either way without rubbing.

MJNewman, what offset are those? I see lots of people getting +35 offset to move the wheel inward when going larger than 265 stock. By the way, your truck looks sick!

+50 keeps tires in stock location in wheel well
+35 puts them flush with wheel well edge
Also keep in mind Brembo Brakes off the JGC SRT8 wont fit with Viper reps if you are looking to add those down the road

Thanks Steve, that's exactly the info I needed. Now are those measurements based on a 10 inch or 9 inch wheel? Most of the replica's I'm finding are 10's
