Radio and Blind Spot Monitoring go out at same time?

Default Radio and Blind Spot Monitoring go out at same time?

Hi guys- did a search but nothing turned up on this issue. Radio and Blind spot monitoring went out at the same time. Happened this afternoon, was fine this morning. I have 2012 Citadel...Thx.

Had that problem once - the radio controls all the electronics for that and it locked up. They removed the IOD (Ignition-Off Draw) and reset it.

It has been fine ever since. Sometimes the IOD isn't locked down tight on delivery (it is pulled up for transport) and it vibrates up out of the socket.

The IOD is the large protected fuse with the plastic locking collar.

Thanks, I will have a look at it. After I got home tonight, I decided to try the quick and sometimes easy fix by pulling the negative cable from the battery for a couple minutes...and that took care of it Hopefully for good, I'm at 35,000 and don't want anymore surprises.

Glad to hear issue is resolved. Don't hesitate to have the dealer inspect if you have further issues since you have warranty remaining on the vehicle.
