This happened to my wife and I on a trip up to Pensacola (about a 7 hour drive). Light came on after first gas stop. Tightened it and it stayed on for the rest of the trip. Was off the next morning... Look at the manual. It states it can take up to 24 hours (if memory serves) for it to go back off... no worries yet...

She drove it a few more times and it turned off. I get so mad sometimes with my wife. She is so freaking careless. Gas cap Wed and tore up a freaking computer today. She is starting to cost me alot of money. She scares me with the DD. I don't drive it alot since I have a company car and my Jeep wrangler for a toy.
