Default Electrohydraulic Steering Pump

The MR2 pumps are getting impossible to find....saw 12+ durangos and cherokees have them...supposedly V6 only?

Wanting to do the conversion on my Dak, but run the pump on a switch. I'm guessing the mopar pumps run off the CAN bus? Bet it's a brushless motor, too :/

It does run off the computer, I believe the system has sensors to let computer know when to speed up pump and when to slow it down

I know the older EHPS pumps ran 100% when power was applied with the data wires unhooked. I wonder if the mopar is the same...

Also wondering on if the hoses on my dak have the same fittings as the mopar EHPS....

true. Now i just need to find out if it will run without the data cables...

Are there any links to FSM that may cover the EHPS wiring diagram?
