Default Not enough power

I have been driving around a mecedes e350 for a while with a little V6. Then I got in my D today and tried flooring it but it just didn't feel like the big bad 5.7 V8 it is. What can I do to make it throw me back in my seat ?

Get one with a V8. Seriously, maybe a tuner, less restrictive intake and exhaust. Not much else you can do. It's a V6 moving a heavy vehicle.

Perhaps I read his post wrong, but I think he's saying that his Durango is a V8 and the Merc is a V6. I think he's complaining that the Durango's V8 isn't powerful. If that's true, I don't know what he can do aside from getting a Jeep SRT8. The Durango R/T has a 0-60 time of 6.6 seconds. That's pretty damn quick for a 3 row SUV. If the OP wants more, he needs to look at sports sedans or the Jeep SRT.

Oh, you are correct. My bad. Still, those things I mentioned would help some. But you are also correct about the SRT8. LOL

The 5.7L was conceived during Daimlers ownership. You actually do have a Mercedes. teehee

Now, excuse me while I go work on this POS Mercedes in my stall (AKA Crossfire)

One is a sports sedan the other is a heavy SUV that can tow 7500 lbs

Exactly. Comparing a Merc 350 to a dodge durango isn't a fair comparison. BTW, that "little" V6 in the E350 produces 302 horsepower and has a curb weight of 4,012 lbs. The Hemi Durango has a curb weight of 5,331 lbs.

With all do respect to the OP, comparing the 2 vehicles is like comparing a Corvette to a Chevy Cobalt.

Yeah, I mean, as I think about it now, it might just be that the throttle isn't as aggressive... I have a crew by the way. So I'll just go a little different today
