Picked up the durango a few months ago for a family hauler. We needed something to seat 6 and this fit the bill. I liked most things about it but I'm into going fast and Offroad stuff. Neither of which this can do. So I'm setting out to fix that. I picked up some 275/70/18 bfg at ko2 tires and 18x9 wheels. I'm not happy with the lift options so I'll probably make my own front spacer to keep the tires from getting sliced up while I mull over some ideas. I'll get some pics up but for now I just wanted to introduce myself!

This is my wife's daily so I have to pass all mods through her. Lol. She came from an Fj cruiser on coilovers and 35" bfg mud terrains so she pretty much gave the go ahead right away to get this thing off the ground a bit.

Looks good, what lift did you use and is it a 5.7?

It has the 3.6. I was more concerned about fuel economy than the extra 50 hp or whatever the v8 had. However, The bigger thing is I couldn't find an rt with second row captains. I need my boys to be able to get to the back without folding the second row down. It doesn't have a lift at the moment. I just threw the tires and wheels on 2 days ago to check for clearance issues and really see what I want to do about a lift.

I average 20 mpg in my 5.7, bet those tires drag your 3.6 down a bit

You must drive like a grandma because that's not what I've seen for most people.

Besides, I know if we had the v8 my wife would certainly not get 20mpg. Ever. The tires didn't seem to change much. It was slow before and seems the same now. Lol

I've tried towing some of my project cars a couple times with this and it was pretty awful with a trailer. It felt a lot better flat towing them. I might play with turbo setups down the road to make it come alive but until then, I'll just work on some aesthetics.
