Default New durango

Thinking about trading in the journey for a Durango. Should I get a v8 or v6 ? It has to be AWD

Well, V8, of course. But be aware, once you have a V8 it is hard to go back...so be prepared.

V8. I've NEVER regretted getting the V8.

If youre a man, get a V8. If you want to be a woman, get a V6.

Well, I don't know whether to laugh or to be offended. I'm a man with a 2012 V6 AWD.

Very much wish I would have gone for the V8, although for no good reason other than I want it.

The V6 is perfectly capable for almost anything you throw at it and is quite impressive for towing. But it still isn't a V8, and while the mpg is better, only slightly so.

For the current models the V6 is even more tolerable, due to a 8 speed tranny instead of the 5 speed in earlier years.

That said... yeah, get the V8. If you are asking, you know you want it.

Hahahaha.. Funny, even my wife wouldn't let me get a v6. Guess that's what happens when you let her drive your v8 cars in high school.

We have a V6 in our 2011, my wife drives it and it's a great car (like all Durangos imo). We never tow anything and the price was right so I don't buy all the "be a man" crap.
