Default Twice this week...

Wife attempts to start the vehicle (2013 Durango RT) and it shakes violently and fails to start. She has to hit the start/stop button to get it to stop. Then it'll fire up on the next attempt like nothing happened.

Once and I'll let it go. 2 times within days of the first occurrence and I start to worry.

If I take it in I'm sure it won't replicate.

Anybody have this happen?

Im having the same issue, so do we wait to we get something in the mail to being it in to the dealer. Or do we just call and let them know we are having the problem?

Take it in see if you can replicate - let them keep it overnight if you can. The dealership service departments no exactly what this is when they hear about or see the symptoms.

Certain dealers may be able to get you parts sooner, but you would have to pay if you aren't under warranty and await an official recall.

Alternatively there is a bypass procedure to get you out of or keep you out of trouble.

russkor & hellomoto,

You can check to see if you are affected by the R09 (formerly P54), or any other, recall on our Mopar Owner Connect website: https://www.moparownerconnect.com/oc...allsQuery.aspx

Thanks for the link. I was unaware of that site. I have a few recalls incomplete. R09 being one of them. Says parts are not available. I'll call tomorrow and see about getting the parts ordered.

There's a few things that have been building that need to be addressed.

Why can't vehicles go back to the way they used to be. So much more simple. 🙊
