Default Antenna base on roof

I have a 2012 dodge durango crew (AWD) and the antenna base on the top of the roof has a slight gap between it and the roof itself. Do I need to worry about any water seeping in and getting inside the car (headliner)?

Is there an easy way to address this?

Thanks.

I will do so, but the gap is maybe 1/16 in.
