I'm not sure of this site's rules for referring to other sites so I won't post links. They are not being discontinued. I have someone on here told me the 2016 order banks open Oct. 26 with production beginning the end of November. Another site had someone that's posted the new model year's particular's in advance of the press release for every year since 2013. He just posted details of the 2016 models.

The general consensus seems to be that 2016 is real and that 2017 will be a full-up redesign. I'm not a source in the know so to speak but I've gotten this independently from three different sources so it's probably as good as it'll get for the internet until they actually issue a press release.

if you are correct, that would be good news. I hope and plan on getting a 17 in 17, to replace my 15 as I will be at high mileage then and ready for the new refresh!

This is what makes the whole thing peculiar!
Its a great seller indeed. Maybe they want to sacrifice it in order to place a completely new model that they think it will bring even bigger profits and its going to be a better technological innovation?

What the heck is a Druango?

FCA has officially said that they want all SUV-type vehicles to be in the Jeep line, Chrysler to have minivans with Dodge to have only cars. So yes on a future for the Grand Cherokee, no on the Durango. But they have changed their minds before.....

As long as it sells they will keep making it. Everyone who rides in my Durango is amazed and and ask who makes this SUV. Dodge needs to do a better job of advertising and getting people to look at the Durango.

It's tough to say what this company is up to. IMO the CEO is a rich celebrity wanna be with some of his quotes and the crap he says in front of the camera.

Four days after he commented that there were no plans to revive a compact size pickup line Mitsubishi announced signing an agreement with FCA to jointly develop a compact truck for the US market based on the L200 platform...

Yup, TND hit it right on the head. Has any one even seen a TV add for the Durango lately ? If Dodge had TV adds for the Durango like they do for the Jeep I am sure sales would go up. Its one great looking SUV. My 2012 Crew 5.7 is one of the best trucks I have ever owned !!
