Default Wheel Torque

I checked the owners manual for the lug nut torque for my 2012 Crew with 20's and can't find anything ? Anyone !

most 14mm studs with 22mm nuts are torqued to 140ft/lbs

Look in the 2012 Owners Manual index for the Tire Changing section (per downloaded 2012 manual it starts on page 508). On page 519, par 9 it shows the correct torque is 110 ft-lbs. Excessive over-torque will make it quite more difficult to change a tire in an emergency situation and could in some cases even warp the rotors. I usually torque the wheels up to 5 ft-lbs over the recommended torque spec (115 ft-lbs); no more.

Ok got it. I torqued them to 105 lb/ft and they are Gutentight now .

Das komputermaschine ist nicht für der gefingerpoken und mittengraben! Oderwise ist easy to schnappen der springenwerk, blowenfusen und poppencorken mit spitzensparken. Ist nicht für gewerken bei dummkopfen. Der rubbernecken sightseeren keepen das händer in das pockets muss.
