@ Kori: It's a '17 Citadel. The windshield in front of the sensors is totally clear. I haven't been back to it since this morning so I'm not sure if it'll clear after a restart.
The '17 OM wasn't available on line last time I looked and I don't have a copy on my work computer so if you have a link that would be great.
PS - I really do love that actual Dodge CS is available here. Believe it or not it's one of several factors that influenced me to buy an FCA vehicle.

Forgot to update this.
The error cleared on the next start. It recurred the next day but once I wiped the windshield (with the wipers that is) I noted then that the LaneSense button was illuminated. Once I pressed it, after using the wiper, the system reset. Both of these events occurred after leaving it outside overnight (first time since I bought it). Evidently what's happening is condensation/frost is blocking the camera view and once it clears the system can be reactivated and the error clears. This morning there was no frost or condensation and there was no problem.
So, summary: outside overnight with frost/condensation, wipe then reactivate. Otherwise it works fine. This makes perfect sense too so I would not consider it a fault or design issue. The car is simply telling me to be ware because the system is unavailable and will allow it to be reactivated once the condition clears.
