2011 3.6L Condenser Repair Cost
I took my 2011 Durango to the dealership last week due to the AC only blowing cool air(even when set on to the coldest temperature). I did see a small puddle of fluid on the drivers side near the radiator fan. Anyway, I was told the condenser needed to be replaced and would cost roughly $900! Does this seem to be a fair price?

I did not find a price for the 2011 Durango A/C condensator, but for a similar car based on the same platform, the Mercedes ML 350 4-Matic, good quality third party A/C condensators cost about 300$. Add to that the required manpower.
I would say that such a repair in a generic garage could cost around 600$, so the 900$ requested by the Dodge Dealership is not unreasonable (though pricey).

Update: I took it to a few repair shops(non dealership) and asked for a rough estimate. The range was between $590 to $690. As you may guess, they all send they would have to actually look at it for an accurate price. I settled on a local garage around town which had good reviews. I paid $650. My A/C is blowing cold again. Thanks for the replies.
