thanx I will try that on wednesday...I have to work a 24 hour shift tomorrow ...so what do u think about the adjustable ball joints..think they will be ok?

yes 2004 is all I have...I love it but man its driving me nuts..I should show you my filter brain someday

I wouldnt do adjustable ball joints personally... takes away my ability to do the alignment myself. you dont need adjustable camber anyway... solid front axle.

DIY toe adjustment... get adjustable ball joints and you do not have this option.

well now I am getting both and will make the decision after I get them and send 1 set back...looks like thursday night will be a late night doing the side with the seized u joint...thanx for all the help..I'll be back at it wednesday hoping to have it apart so when I get the parts they will go in quick..I called my mechanic buddy and he seems to think I can set the adjustable ones with no camber right from the start..hopefiully thats true because they seem robust...

Hey Steve, I was wondering..in case I get that far could you explain to me in detail the removal and replacement of the axle shaft..I dont want to mess it up and nick the seal..and FYI I returned the adjustable ball joints..using professional grade spicers that are the exact same as ACDelco Ball joints..thanx again for the advice..

Yeah I am missing a picture... I think it is still on the camera and I will get it in there asap.

take a large screwdriver and pry out the shaft... thats all that is needed. there is not a whole lot you can do when removing it other than to be carefull & support it as you pull it out. when I did mine, I thought for sure I'd have a leak but none showed up so I must have been ok with my removal & install of both axles. just remember to tilt the axle so the side your working on is higher and you wont loose any fluid.

when you install the shaft, lightly grease the end of it before putting it back into the housing.

Steve, today was a good day...I had to press the rotor off with the hub..it seems to be still useable...all is apart awaiting my trip to Michigan tomorrow to pick up the ball joints and axle u joints..my u joint on this side was completely seized one way...hence my wobble in turns...I again want to thank you for your help...any ball joint or u joint thats greaseable would be better in this case...at least I am knowledgeable on this now and know what to do and maybe what not to do...we'll see how long the moog lowers and spicer uppers last by greasing them with good synth grease...I will use lots of never seize upon reassembly of the rotor and hub...G in Canada

PS my lower BJ was worn worse than the upper on this side!!
