Tires (size and fitment)
#12
I am looking for a aggresive looking tire to put on my stock 20s but I'm not sure what tire to go with. I will go with 33" tire but how wide? I am looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ radial SLT but at 13.20 will the tire rub?

tire sizes
I have not logged into the forum for sometime now. Too busy with winter!
I have a 2002 2500 cummins.
I have two days to take off the studded winter tires.
I need to buy some new tires this week for the fishing season.
Will BFG All Terrian or BFG Mud Terrian 285/75R16 fit my truck. No rubbing?

Tires (size and Fitment)
I have the stock 275/60/R 20 size tires. I am currently running Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors and I love them.
I got them at Sams and they fit just fine!
I have not had them long but I have been able to try them out while towing and off-roading and they were great!
They truly are silent!

Thanks for the chart Hammer, I've been looking for exactly that and I appreciate it.

All_of_75, dude, those are some seriously pricey tires. They quoted me at around $1100 for those here in Michigan. I like your style.

I got my Mud Grapplers installed last night. I ordered 33's and they ordered 35's by mistake. I decided to try them on anyway, and they fit. I'm running stock wheels, no spacers, and no leveling or lift kit. I do have the torsion bars cranked up a bit, but not quite enough to level the front. The tires barely rub the sway bar on the inside side biters, but only when turned to full lock. I'm sure a set of leveling keys would correct this. They look awesome though...they fill the wheel wells nicely.

I've searched couldn't find exactly what I want to know. I know 33's fit without a lift on stock wheels, but what width works without rubbing 10.5 12.5? The truck I just bought came with moto metal wheels 17x8 and I believe 5.5 bs so pretty close to stock right? Please let me know, I'm buying tires very soon and I dont want the small 245s anymore.
Thanks in advance

Right now I'm running 6" fabtech susp, and 3" PA body. I fit 37x1250R18's with no rubbing at all. There is a ton of room left inside. I measured, and could fit 40's with no rubbing at maximum turn.
I have seen 35's on a stock 3rd gen dodge ram, with minimal rub at full turn. (If you have rub, crank your torsion bar bolts about 3-4 full turns and they will not rub anymore)
Also, for all people wanting to go with a 6" fabtech, remember the arms are swapped out, and you NEED a rim with 4.5" backspacing to bolt them up. Anything less your rim will hit on the upper arm and you won't be able to bolt them on. Best of luck friends.
