So how'd you like it? Moe's offers the PLX gauges (never tried one) and I've also seen the Dashhawk (never tried it). They seem to have the same basic features.

Thanks for the update! I have a question, will it read fuel flow? Like in gallons per hour?

I have a little gizmo called MPGuino in my truck right now, that lets me monitor my fuel flow. I have been using it to monitor roughly what my fuel economy is as I modify my truck. Also, as I am trying to train myself to get better mileage, it was pretty shocking to see how much I can pull when I stomp the pedal down. Sometimes over 11 gal/hr!

I'm still learning how to use mine and what all it will do. I initially wanted just a trans temp gage, but Bob pointed me to the AI. I like it.

nice, Greg do you have yours set up to cycle parameters yet? Thats my fav part. I'll probably change it around again but so far I cycle coolant temp/trans temp > battery voltage/alternator percentage > RPMs/Knock Retard > Ambient Air Temp/Air Intake Temp and then it completes its rotation and cycles back to coolant/trans temps.

That's funny.. That is exactly what I have setup when I have it cycle. I have used it for data logging the last couple days. It is a little convoluted in as you have to go back through the menu to return to Performance again. But it uses the same data as the SC3865 so it is just as accurate. Hope to have a DSP shortly.

haha yeah thats crazy your setup is the same. I've only used the datalog on the gauge once and my dash lights started going crazy so I havent worked up the nerve to try it again. I've got a obdII splitter that I can run the sc and gauge together so I just record times with the SC. It's a shame you can't take advantage of the trans options, I've finished my shift schedule and it feels like a whole new truck. If you really want to sell the 3865, you should put it on eBay. People are paying good money now with the new trans release. Check out this ebay auction for a used tuner that didnt even indicate if it's locked or not.
