Miles per gallon- What are you getting?

RE: Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
Winter - 10MPG city // 14-15mpg HWY
Summer - 13-14mpg city // 17-19mpg hwy
If you don't have a hard Tonneau cover, I'd take the back tailgate out for less wind resistance. Dodge's got that big *** front but it still matters. I noticed like 1 mpg gain with my tailgate out before I got my tonneau. Lot of thoughts on that, but it does work in my opinion. Intake // Chip // all sorts of things can gain a bit more, but I noticed that getting the truck as fast as possible to 3rd gear where it runs low RPMS like when it clicks in at 45mph. 55mph. are the best for mpg savings.
My thoughts.

I know multiple people say 89 octane doesnt affect gas mileage, but I ran 87 for 2 weeks and I averaged 12.1 on both fill ups. I got 89 for the last 2 fill-ups and I averaged 13.6. same driving conditions on all 4 tanks of gas. 1.5 miles per gallon is worth getting 89 octane

My truck averages 15MPG throughout the whole tank. I have an 05 QuadCab Hemi.
My girlfriends father has a chevy silverado reg cab 4.3L V6 and he gets about the same mileage if not a little worse. My truck is a quadcab with 20 wheels and I think its alot heavier than his!
My father has a chevy silverado ext cab 4.8L V8 and these are supposed to be getting way better mileage than the dodges, he gets about 20-40Kms per tank more than I am.
I had a 94 GMC Sierra 3/4 ton 6.5L Turbo Diesel before this, and that got way worse mileage than my new dodge. The 3/4 ton took 128L to fill and I would go about 600KMS. My Dodge takes 98 L to fill and I go approx. 600Kms.
Oh by the way Im not driving with a light foot either!

2005 2500 QC, LB, 4X4, HEMI, manual tranny,3:73'S, 315 70R/17 BFG AT KO'S, 3" BODY LIFT, 2" FRONT SUSPENSION LEVELING KIT, MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST.
Just finished a trip from California to Virginia and back and averaged 11.5 mpg in 5th with cruise set around 70, this keeps my engine just under 2500 RPM's. Never got anything better than 11.75 or worse than 10. Hit some serious wind on my return and had to drop into 4th and stay there for long periods of time which took me to about 3000 RPM's.

I have an 03 dodge ram 1500 4 door and am not sure about the mpg but it costs me $50 to fill up on E and I get about 290 - 300 miles per tank.
With my flatbed 16 foot trailer that weighs about $1800 lbs empty, pulling it I get about $275 miles per tank.
With a 3,500 vehicle on my trailer, I get about 240 miles to the tank.

03 2500 QC SWB with Hemi, running 295 70R17 BFG's, 3.73 rearend, AirRaid intake, 43k on the odometer. I run 89 octane religiously......can't get better than 12 mpg according to the computer. On highway, I figured a little better at 12.8......but still not that great. I sold my tonneau.....too much of a pain in the a$$ to re-attach during Michigan winters.
I'm a noob to the board, but anyone have any suggestions for Heavy Duty's? Besides staying off the go pedal!!
