the best price is at autozone for about 115, but you dont want to go cheep on those, get the duralast ones for about 160. if you go cheep you will just be redoing then again in about two years.

Use Code LC123 to save 40$ off of each one at advance auto (online only) ... Make two seperate purchases that way you get the discount twice. Be sure to chose instore pickup to save on shipping! Hope this helps! (Code works on anything btw)

A word about going cheap. Normally about the time you need a new Hub the upper and lower ball joints are also sloppy. They all work together to create a stable front end. I recommend consider doing all three together if you have a lot of miles. If you use an inexpensive Hub it's chances of lasting longer are increased by doing the ball joints too. I would also urge you to torque the nuts on the ball joint studs going through the steering knuckle (spelling?).

Stop basing purchasing decisions on price! Shop for quality, otherwise you're paying more in the long run.

Example: A few years back I bought new u-joints for my 1997 Ram. The one fit like a glove, while the other would not co-operate no matter what. The guy helping me checked it with his micrometer only to find it was a few thousands too large. I took it back to the store to discover that I had received a mixed set - one was made in the USA and the other in China. Guess which one didn't fit? (Hint: China) The guy at the counter wasn't paying attention and had grabbed both the "high dollar" u-joint and El Cheapo. I told him to give me another USA made and I would gladly pay the difference. Once home, the replacement u-joint was installed quickly.

Know what you're buying first and then shop around on price. It's a tough lesson to learn, but once bitten you'll never forget.
