I was told you can get the parts you need to have a factory remote start using the key fob. It calls for the new key fob, computer, and hood switch. I was given these numbers from a Dodge Tech who installs the keyless entries.
Wish he lived near. LOL

I would be very careful here as the 2006 uses it's own kit and the 2007 kit has problems see TSB_08-018-07 and the 2008 is a factory option.
But for a 2007 Im showing Installation kit part number 82211214 includes harness, long-range antenna, key transponder interface, software cartridge, hood tilt switch, two mini one-button keyfobs, install and operating instructions and hardware
And base electronics module part number 82208859AB
Welcome to the site. Sounds cheaper to just get an aftermarket alarm with RKE and RS.
I guess the real question would be, If I go aftermarket is there a way to use a different type key so that I don't have to have the beast key and an extra remote?
I see there are 2 types of Sentry keys. 1 with the buttons and another for vehicles without keyless entry. Would that type key work?
I prefer that when women stare at my bulge I'm not competing with all my Keys,Key FoB and remote........
