It just keeps getting better.
Still on the "Break in phase" with the Brand New 5.7 Hemi. While driving down I-70 in Frederick, Md. I saw a puff of smoke from the rear view mirror. Got off the exit and drifted down the hill back to Frederick. Pulled into a Trucking Company parking log. Oil was everywhere, except inside the engine. Oil pouring out of the bottom like there was no gasket on the oil pan. ZERO oil on the dipstick !

Unless you are planning on performance upgrades like milled heads or nitrous or really anything that increases cylinder pressures. Shorties are known for causing misfires. Almost all the guys who really push their hemis go standard length wires. If you are just looking for show then shorties are fine.
