Default Daytona muffler

In the process of buying a 2005 Ram 1500 Daytona edition, and it sounds a great deal quieter than my buddies rumble bee. I want the deep throaty sound of the 5.7 but im not sure of the best route... what does everyone recommend for a good muffler? Magnaflow? Flowmaster? Cherry Bomb?

Search videos in you tube. Asking what muffler is best is like asking what color or tire is best. You will get 500 answers, nine alike. What someone thinks sounds good, you may dislike. Personally I like magnaflow.

I started out with a flowmaster 40 series. It was LOUD! Sounded mean from the outside, but inside the truck there was so much drone at cruising speed you coul not even hear the person next to you. Lol. I replaced it with a magnaflow and the drone was almost completely gone, but it still had a real nice rumble outside. Made a believer yet of me.

I'll move this to the correct tech section so more people will see it. Welcome to the forum btw. Let's see some pics of the truck!

Honestly, don't waste your money. Cai's are a gimmick. If you really want another intake, get a cheap one off eBay or Amazon. Don't fall for the gimmick of the name. The same effect (noise) can be purchased for much cheaper.
