Default How do I place a small resistor in the distributor for better gas mileage

I have a resistor for my hemi (2003 Ram 1500) which is supposed to better the mileage. Anyone know how this is installed?

The only thing in the distributor is a hall-effect switch and a window wheel. I would not advise screwing with it. It's essentially just a crank sensor.

Now, if the sync is off between the cam and crank, you mileage will go to crap. It can be checked with a scan tool.

Are you referring to a "chip" (which is really just a resister) that goes on the intake air temp sensor? Do you have a picture of this "resister"? It did not come with instructions?

Assumed 5.9 (360), the 5.2 (318) didn't even make it into the 3rd gen body

03 2500/2500 could still be had with the 5.9.
