get the stockers. they are like 2 bucks apiece and if you can notice a difference in a mostly stock truck with platniums and with coppers ( same hemi with different plugs brand new) your *** dyno is lieing to ya. if your heavily modded make sure you run the correct gap AND heat range. save your money and buy a 24 pack cuz your gona need it for changin the plugs![sm=icon_cheers.gif]

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum with 48K.
At 42K I had the plugs changed as per recommended maintenance.
As per the recommendation of the mechaninc, I had E3 plugs installed.
The gas mileage went form an average of 18.5 to 15 MPG.
The car also seemed to have a power loss.
The delaer said the computer was cuasing the issue, but everything checked out ok.

Well this past weekend, I had the plugs swapped to Champion Copper plugs and the car is back to her old self.
The E3 plugs were dirty, sooty, and some blow by was evident on them as well, which means there wasn't complete combustion in the chambers.

The power surge with the new plugs and gas mileage are back to original levels.

Do not put any other type of spark plug in the Hemi other than original replacement plugs.

Thanks I will be getting the plugs this weekend. Does anyone know the plug model number so I can call the parts stores without taking one of my plugs out first?

Champion plugs are part no 570. I order online from Advance Auto and pick up at the store. Free shipping for orders over $50.

It must just be the Pacific Northwest that is out of the Champion plugs.

I am suggested NGK Iridium spark plug for Hemi. This spark plug comes with an iridium core electrode that can increase the spark plug energy. If you want to upgrade your ride, then this spark plug is perfect for you. Its trivalent metal plating can help against corrosion and seizing. It is highly recommended for your Hemi.

Except the chrysler motors outright HATE rare-earth plugs, and they cause all sorts of interesting performance issues. Best to stick with factory recommended plugs, and threads that aren't a hundred years old.
