Default a leaky driveshaft seal !

There seem to be a minor oil leak around my drive shaft seal in my rear axel diferential. my truck is a 2004 and as 61000 km. I am under the 7 years/ 70000 powertrain warranty, So is the dealer is going to fix it under warranty or this isn't a warranty issue you think ?
thx for your feedbacks.

When you call them, refer to it as a"Pinion seal". Drive shafts have no seals....

Depending on your exact coverage type, it looks like it's covered.

Definately a warrenty issue, But if you're a handy man ask yourself if it's worth the drive to the dealer to replace a $5 seal. My dealer isa little overan hour away so I just did mine myself. Just don't tell them you did it b/c if for some reason you happen to experiance rear-end problems in the future, they will probably try to blame it on improper seal instillation. As if that were even possible.

Yes definitely a warranty issue. I had the front pinion seal and the right rear axle seal replaced on mine under warranty

Obviously all, or at least truck/SUV Chryslers have this issue. Mine went bad on the Jeep GC. I did notice my rear differential wet on my Hemi the other day, have to get under and take a look.
