Default Hey race fans:

Thought I'd stop by and say HI!. I'm getting ready to pick up my first. My first Dodge, and my first new vehicle purchase. Getting an 08 1500 SB Hemi. My kid races bikes and we'll be hauling our toyhauler all over the western states. I'll be looking for audio upgrade info, mileage imporovements, (gas here in SoCal is around 3.50 p/g) and performance tips.

Figuring I'd start with getting it to breate better then some knind chip that won't void the warranty.

TIA for all the tips I'll be stealin from ya....

Andy

There is TONS of information about chips/tuners NOT voiding warranty unless they can undoubtedly prove that the tuner is what caused the damage/failure. Although there are some horror stories of people having to fight for warranty repairs. I would suggest doing a search about the warranty, there are plenty of posts of some law that prohibits dealers from screwing customers on warranty work. Also most will re-flash the computer back to stock before ever taking it into the dealer. Some say that the dealer can find out and others say they cant. I would suggest doing some searching on the forum and make up your own mind. Oh and BTW welcome to the forum and congrats on the new purchase.
