NO PLATINUMS! Use the Autolite Copper Core 3923's. They are two heat ranges cooler than the recommended 5224 and are GREAT plugs for how little they cost.
How many miles on your ride before you decided to changed them out. Are you changing the wires too??
I see Jr Mechanic says "NO PLATINUMS! Use the Autolite Copper Core 3923's. I did read this in another post, just wondering why the cooler plug, isn't a hotter plug more efficient?

Just asking because I don't know
People seem to change them out every 20,000-30,000 with cheap plugs. There are no wires on the 4.7 or 3.7, it is a "coil on plug" design. I just put the 3923's in my 06 Dakota 3.7 with 13,000 miles and it made a HUGE difference. Better idle, better mileage, smoother ride, etc. The reason you dont want platinums is because these engines do not seem to like them along with the 3.9, 5.2, and 5.9 LA series blocks, you will lose 20-50 miles per tank. Not sure about the hemi though. The cooler plugs have a shorter tip and prevent pre detonation. It gives it a smoother idle and better mileage like I said before.
