Default Aftermarket Radio in 2007 ram 3500

I want to install a aftermarket stero in my truck. i was told that mount kit for an 05 would work but i dont think it will does anyone know if i can installl one? thanks.

I looked on ebay and they show a mount kit that has the right shape... but i think the radio would be to wide to fit in the dash

AND IF ANYONE KNOWS IF THIS WILL WORK... HOW DO YOU GET TO THE SCREWS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIO COVER

You could always take it to a local audio shop. You might think you want to do it yourself, but they have all the right stuff you would need. When I got mine done, they used a mount kit that matched the dash perfectly... I think it was $15 extra. I have no idea what vehicle the kit was made for.

If you really insist on doing it yourself, I would recommend at least calling a reputable car audio company and ask them what kind of kit you would need to mount it. Or what kind of kit THEY WOULD USE and play it off like you are going to be bringing your truck in.

I dont see how the 05 kit will work. the dashs dont look alike. I would get a kit for the 07, crutchfield has them, and go with it. You will also get the needed power adaptor for that model. mine was $60 plus the kit, to get my alpine in mine.
