Default Battery Dieing overnight!!!

Hey guys,

I've done a few searches and can't seem to come up with anything. First, I've got a 2002 1500 4.7litre. I'm having charging problems with it. If i leave the truck overnight or for a period of time i have to boost it to get it started. I've checked the battery and terminal connections and they all seem to be fine. It seems like something is draining it. I'm not getting any warning lights on the dash. Any idea where to start looking. I don't think it's the alternator...Could it be a module or something else?

Thanks in advance everybody!

Take your battery somewhere and have them test it to make sure it is good. A lot of places do it for free, like Auto Zone, Advance Auto, etc..

I had an alternator on another truck that was shorting back on itself and draining the battery - might be worth getting it checked along with the battery.

How about any non-stock additions? Radio, amps, lights, I have even seen car alarms drain a weak battery.

Just some rambling thoughts for ya!

Did you ever resolve this problem? Interested to know what the root cause was.
