Right.
YOu only need to change the fluid and not look for the c clips.
No LSD = no c clip problem.

thanks for all the info. I was wondering what is the bestway to find out if I have LSD. Its a 05 ram 1500 2wd quad cab if that makes a difference. looking at some the comments about those clips started to scare me a little. had no look trying to find the DIY on this forum. By me having a 2wd I should be only changing my rear axle fluid right or wrong?

Yes 2WD's only have a rear differential. Do a burn out and see if you have one line or two behind you...one means you don't have a LSD and you're better off IMO. If you want a LSD go aftermarket like someone else said..
