Incorrect Purge Flow, how to fix?
Hey guys,
I did multiple searches on here for my engine light code P0411 that came on, and i found out that it was incorrect purge flow.
Just from what i have found in searches, it was either a gas cap issue (my gas cap is on fine) or a cracked line somewhere.
My question is, where am i looking for a cracked line? Im about to go out and take a look but i dont know if i should be checking every line or just certain ones.
Thanks in advance.

yeah thats right...driver side is correct, think ole hammer had a brain fart....yeah just check around and see if you can see/feel any cracks in the line...normally you'd smoke the like and use a blacklight to watch for smoke coming from somewhere but you might be able to find it by looking

You're right, my bad, drivers side. I can't remember what truck I had that had a clogged hose at the canister, charcoal got in it and I had to blow it out, but whatever truck it was, it was on the passenger side (I think).
Here is a pic of the evap system, you can get to all the hoses fairly easily. Shoot if you had to replace them all, I don't think it'd cost more than $30 for the hoses and clamps.
Stupid govt. and their mandated emissions crap, you take away the damn evap and EGR and you take away 50% of the problems guys have with these trucks...

... and in the case of the new diesels if this egr/evap ****e was gone the trucks would get better power and more mileage I mean sure the 6.7 is ok but it will never be a 5.9 in terms of mileage and tune ability. Look at fords 6.4 diesel hmm my HEMI gets better mileage and that is saying something same with dirtymaxes they are all choked up. Luckily where I live there are no inspections or emissions checks so we can toss all of this junk and not worry anything but still...
