Default Buying new tires. Opinions please.

Im look to get either a set of BFG A/T or the km2 M/T. I really like the looks of the km2's but not really sure if they will wear much worse than their all terrains. Has anyone had either one of these tires? and how do they wear? What whould you want on your truck? Thanks for the input. oh and the are only about 10 bucks more apiece for the MT's. also keep in mind i do i will have alot of hwy miles.

The A/T's are better for the street. They will last longer and be quieter.

The KM2's are rated at 35000 and the At KO's are rated for 50000

AT's will last a long time. The M/T's will die fast on a heavy truck.

I had the BFG A/T's on my 03' 2500 and I loved them. I only had them on there for a few months before i sold my truck for a Trailblazer SS but they were nice. I heard you can get quite a bit of milage out of them, they are not too loud (a bit louder than stock) and ride pretty well. However, the prices of those things are kind of crazy, at least when I bought them they were a few years ago. I have heard different things about the ware on the BFG A/T's. some say they work out well and others say they wore kind of funny. I guess it depends on your vehicle and how you drive on them. I came across these new Coopers thats seem to have real good ratings andI have heard nothing but good about them. They are very similar to the ratings of Toyo Open Country A/T's. They are supposed to be very quiet, last quite a while, and handle great in all weather. They are called Cooper Zeon LTZ. The down side is they are a private cooper tire that only Discount tire sells but you may be able to find them elsewhere like I did on ebay. Since My SS I have gone back to a 1500 Ram with the 20's and these are my next tire after these crappy factory ones are shot. You should Check them out! I would stay away from M/T's unless you do heavy offroading, due to costs, loud noise and replaceing them after like 10,000 miles lol.

Here is a link to the Cooper Zeon LTZ tires on ebay, not the size you wanted but they may carry it:
