I have just ordered new 20's for my truck and they have a 5.25" backspacing. I'm going to be putting 35's on them and I have a leveling kit that should be here today. I was wondering if I will need to buy wheel spacers or will I be okay without them?
Stock suspension? Gonna need some spacers. Should of bought wheels with a 4.5" backspacing. It would save you $125 and the hassle of buying 1" spacers. I don't like 1" ones because the lugs generally hit the back of the wheel. I'd go with 1.25" to be on the safe side. Your gonna need some flares to cover up the tires as they wil stick out some.
However, I'd try putting the fronts on and se how they are for now. 35's and stock suspension = too crowded IMO
Being that the stock 20's are 5.75" of backspacing.... I think you'll be okay. That gives you a 1/2" of additional offset compared to the stock wheels. You'll love the stance. The tires will be 1.25" further out than what you have right now
