I chose 1500. Not because it's the best, but because it's all I need.

Agreed on the need reasoning. It pulls my hotrod and trailer, hauls mulch, furniture, and whatever else. Now if I had a huge trailer, I have a bigger ram.

I bought a 1500 with 4.7 and auto. But I WISH I had bought a 2500 with the Hemi and manual. Price would have been the same, and I would have more truck for the money. Oh well...we live and learn....

you can't get a 2500 or 3500 with the 4.7L

And a Gas 3500 is hardly the choice for "hard work"

1500 is enough for me. That's why I bought it. Would love to have a diesel, but can't afford it right now, but if gas prices keep going up, Im gonna wish I did.
