Default help again

I cant believe no one answered my question yesterday. Is there anyone who knows how to diagnose my problem. My rear is leaking fluid and it has a humming noise it gets louder the faster i drive. I put fluid in it and it still hums like crazy. Would seals that leak cause it to hum or what else could it be?? anybody have any ideas? i really dont know much about this and could really use some help. I cant take it to a shop to get fixed because my wife is tired of putting money into it. I have to try and repair it myself or junk it, I love my truck, it is spotless and has never missed an iol change. it has 200,000 miles but runs great until this humming

Sounds like something in your rear end is going out(bearing, gears ect).the seals leaking didn't help much.it Probably got low on fluid and burnt something up.I had an old ford that the rear was doing the same thing.I ended up replacing the gears and bearings inside.after that it was good to go

Check the pinion seal. Is there grease splattered all over the underside of the truck in front of the differential?
