Default The Best Transmission Fluid Recommended

Just want to get some expert opinions on what the best transmission fluid out there for a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.7 is.

anything full synthetic. lots of people on here swear by royal purple everything, but anything full synthetic is ok

my next change will be RP. can i mix RP with the stock stuff i have in there now?

i have RP in my tranny now. but i had to go buy 19 quarts of tranny fluid for the tq verter install and didnt want to spend $14 a quart on it, so i got valvoline.

Yeah, ive got RP AFT Max in mine. I bought 17 qrts at 11 bux each and changed it all out.

I contacted redline as I may be able to get a deal through a shop I know. They recommended their C+ ATF. It is a full syn as well. I will be giving that a try.

why 17 quarts? am i missing something? our trans takes 17 quarts of fluid? i was planning on switching the trans to RP but if its gonna take 17 quarts F-that!
