Unhappy squeaking sound coming from somewhere underneath...!!!!

i have a dodge 2006 with 40,000 miles. its 4x4 1500 4.7 liter. About a couple weeks ago i started noticing a squeaking noise almost like my brush guard was loose but my brush guard is tight and not making any noise.... its coming from somewhere else. it only does it when i hit a bump and sometimes when i turn the wheel into my drive way or something... could this be the ball joints?

grab your anti-sway bar links. then have someone bounce your front end up and down. if they are loose, that's your squeak. i had an 02 1500 and my anti sway links were bad, and it would squeak going over bumps. was annoying. so i removed them, and the squeak went away. im willing to bet that's your problem too;p

ugh oh. not too mechanically inclined? well, under the front of your truck, there will be a huge bar that sits horizontally, and is bolted to the frame of your truck. on each side, there will be anti sway bar links, that hookup from the anti sway bar to the suspension arms. you have to grab the links, and have someone bounce the car. if they move at all, and are not completly secured on both ends, it will squeak. google anti sway bar, and anti sway bar links and you will see what they look like.
