Also, regarding removing the brake booster for the driver's side of the HEMI, is that something that can just be unbolted from the firewall and moved out of the way slightly, or is it something that will require draining the brake fluid and a bleeding of the entire brake system?
More than that brother, I started this epic thread 7 years ago, damn...time flies! I didn't have to remove the booster. I also answered your PM earlier...sorry for the delay! Sold mine a few months ago.

Hey Weedahoe;

I appreciate the PM and everything man.
I sent the money throught my paypal to customcreationsllc@Outlook.com on 2/17 and have PM'd a couple of times for confirmation and to make sure you had my address but have not heard back. My paypal said the money was sent.
Hope you did not have a family emergency!!
For some reason all of my attempts to contact you even through that custom creations email have had no response?

Thanks,

As for tools, I bought one at Advance Auto (all we have locally plus Autozone), looks like it should work pretty good (pic below), I saw the one by the member in the FAQ Cam Swap, that tool is sweet!

I just googled the spring part #, found this info on a Chrysler forum...the dealer sold me the "AE" spring. I hope it's correct.

As per my post that you quoted, that's what I did until I had time to swap the rest. All went well on my end.

Hopefully I can revive this thread once again! 2003 5.7 2500 155k miles. Just about wont run at idle and runs terrible at all other RPMs. Looking for a little info on this one.

Does anyone have a line on any of the spring tools for this. The original diy tool or one I can purchase.

Looking for some clarity on the 6.1 springs. What do I need to look for when trying to find them? Is there a specific year make model that i need to look for springs/rods on? Can someone possibly post a link to what i need?

Do i need to replace valve seals as well?
