gotcha. good feedback. i agree the hemi 1500 has WAY more guts than most give it credit for. add mods like CAI, longtube headers, programmer, a torque grind cam w/custom tune, 4.56 gears, airbags, WDH, brake controller and of course some tow mirrors and you've got yourself a towing BEAST!

well, i'll be the first guy to say go for it, i've towed well over that with my 1500, no special gear used, truck handled fine. In fact, i used to haul the dumper trailer for the concrete company i work for. if the dump trailer has trailer brakes, you should be fine. how long are you gonna haul the rig? Just remember to keep your distance from the next car, big weight means longer stopping time.
