Your brake disc rotors are probably warped. You should get the. Resurfaced or replace them. My truck used to do it really bad but then I finally changed them last year it was fine. Now I'm starting to feel a little Shake again when breaking in higher speeds! They say it causes that when you go thru rain puddles alot? cuz the rotors are hot then they touch cold water? But idk.

Do you still have the stock tires? Could be that. About 6 months ago I had my stock goodyears rotated due to a similiar shake I was experiencing. My mechanic told me one of my tires was worn unevenly and that was the cause. He rotated it from the front to the back it made the shake milder. Bout a week ago I replaced my stock goodyears with cooper zeons and now she rides like a dream, smooth sailing!! I thought it was my rotors until my mechanic told me they were fine. Just my experience though...if that helps.

Hey thanks guys, I'll give my rotors a look. Do I need to replace all 4 (back wheels are rotors, not drums)? I'm thinking it's one of the front one's cause that where the shaking seems to be happening, but idk, maybe just replace 'em all.
No, wheels not stock. Those were stolen about a week off the lot. Strange thing to wake up, and go out to your truck to find it sitting on blocks...

if your rear pads are good, you dont have to replace them, they only do 25% of the braking anyway. As for your issue, ive had a similar problem. i replaced the rotors, drivers side was warped. It is still doing it so its at the dealer today with them trying to find out why. i hope you only need the rotors replaced.
