Default Possibly getting a used Ram 1500

Hey guys I am possibly looking to get a used 2007-2008 Ram 1500. Working on trying to trade in my 2005 Jeep Liberty which I owe more than the thing is worth :-( .... anyways as i cannot tow my Dakota with it looking to get a Ram which i can tow with etc..

Anything option wise I should be insuring I get with it? The obvious is the 5.7 Hemi, tow package... What else is a "Must Have" or "Nice to have" options?

I would say make sure it has a posi in it but I'm guessing that was a must have for you anyway.

My 07 came with 20's and 3.92's but no posi so now I am going through the pain of getting/installing a new differential and 4.56 gears.

Also, I am average height so I like the power seats so I can sit up a little higher.

Are looking at regular or quad cab?

I think that 3:92 gears would be good. I read a lot of complaints about towing from guys that don't have the 3:92's. I have them and I am happy with my trucks towing ability.

I second blue hemi. Limited Slip, 3.92 gears, and power seats are three items I can't live with out.

If you get a 07, aim for a late 07 cause I remember hearing that's when they supposedly fixed the rear end c-clip issue.

Mine has bucket seats and a full console which I like alot better than the 60/40 bench I had in my 03.

nh5, what c-clip issue? Is this something I can fix when I do my gear swap?
